BREAKING: LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Reveal Trailer

Star Wars fans have been spoiled at this year’s E3 after all of yesterday’s announcements concerning Jedi: Fallen Order, however today’s Xbox panel revealed that they are not done just yet. They have revealed the LEGO Star Wars remake of the entire film saga, including The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

The Force Awakens received a LEGO release back in 2016, however no plans for the spin-offs, let alone The Last Jedi getting a LEGO game have surfaced. I was expecting them to do a trilogy collection for TROS, but I was certainly not ready for a fully remake of the entire saga.

Gamers may remember LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga from 2007, which combined the original two games with added levels and some of the more……..frankly bad levels being replaced with the original being put in as a bonus stage.

Despite the massive popularity of Star Wars, and the LEGO games in particular, the franchise had not had a release prior the the TFA adaptation since 2011 with Lego Star Wars IIIL The Clone Wars, which adapted the first two seasons of the show.

The lack of Lego Star Wars games has been noticeable for those like myself whose first Star Wars game was one. It is fantastic to see that the new generation of fans will now get the chance to have this in their childhood as well.

The game has been announced for Xbox, the Xbox store, and PC. At the moment it seems all but confirmed that it will not launch with the Playstation.
