Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Comic Tie-In Announced.

It seems StarWars.com is not yet done announcing new comics these past few days. Today, along with an interview, they unveiled that writer Ethan Sacks (Age of Republic Special, and Old Man Hawkeye) will be penning the 5 issue mini, with art by Will Sliney (Beckett one-shot, Solo adaptation, Ben Riley: Scarlet Spider, and some of the 2015 Spider-Man 2999).

The book will be released in April and will focus on a character created for the upcoming Disney park.

Readers of the five-issue miniseries will be the first to meet the infamous Dok-Ondar, the Ithorian collector of rare antiquities, and find out what happens when the First Order reaches the edge of wild space. The key to saving this lawless outpost might just involve a job pulled long ago by none other than Han Solo and his cohort Chewbacca.

This is just the latest in a series of stories introducing us to Batuu and what we have in store for us at Galaxy’s Edge later this year. Just recently the junior novel “Pirate’s Price'“ took part in the “Flight of the Falcon” multimedia event telling the story of the vessel leading to the events of Galaxy’s Edge. The book explained why Hondo Ohnaka has the Falcon during the events of the park’s story.

These lead-ins have really shown how much they want this park to really authentically fit into the lore specifically. Batuu has already come alive for us thanks to Thrawn: Alliances, and despite likely not being able to afford visiting the attraction, I cannot help but be hyped like crazy for it.
